Big meeting at work today…
TL;DR
Donate to Parkinson’s research at my personal page and make me run the Dam to Dam 5k in short shorts while listening to horrible music.
The Whole Story
Recently, my friend and one of the most impressive people I know, Erin Rollenhagen, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. In keeping with her existing level of awesomeness, she and her friends went all Grumpy Cat on that.

The first thing we’re doing is running the Dam to Dam as a fundraiser for the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support Parkinson’s research. Since running and me are all,

I’m doing the 5k version, but I still want to do my part fundraising. Since I’m only running 1/4th the distance other team members are I decided to offer incentives.
Since personal embarrassment and pain have proven to be effective motivators for my group of friends in the past, the incentives will be as follows:
$250 Raised (Suggested Goal for this Team) : Embarrassment
As the team has been named Team Fox(y), I will run said 5k in the shortest pair of rugby shorts I own.

*Level of Fox(y)ness not guaranteed.
$500 Raised (Stretch Goal) : PAIN
When I do run, I always listen to music, usually House or Trance or something with a nice pace-setting beat. If I raise $500, I’ll create a public Spotify playlist for the event and let anyone who donated through my page add any track they want. ANY. TRACK.
If you know me, you understand the level of pain I’m opening myself up to here.

So, if you’d like to take a little chip out of my sanity while simultaneously donating to a great cause, give generously here, and do your worst.
